CHAINSAW'S Tama Starclassic Maple Thunderdrums

Just one look at Chainsaw's drums, and you know they're loud. Everything about this kit is aggressive, from the black color to the two bass drums to the custom Gibraltar rack. Then there are the little details like the custom Chainsaw logo, stacked cymbals, and the skull and crossbones.

I'm a rock drummer for 45 years now, and proud of it! Neil Peart, John (Bonzo) Bonham, Keith Moon, Ginger Baker, Mitch Mitchell, Ian Paice, Lars Ulrich, and Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater) are some of my main influences just to name a few.

I play Tama Starclassic Maple drums exclusively. My kit consists of: 10",12", 13", and 14" deep toms. 16" and 18"  floor toms; 2-24" kick drums and a stainless steel snare. All incorporated on a curved Gibraltar rack. An array of various Sabian cymbals. The drums are piano-black lacquer finish. (Painted not wrapped shells.)

I used to be a Ludwig player for years until Tama came out with the Starclassic Maples w/ the Starcast hoop mounted system. They sound sweet. I've played from the east coast to the west coast and north and south. It's a very tough business, and I wish I could get the respect that is past due!  Rock-on!
