  • Six-Point Plan for Raising Happy, Healthy Children by John Rosemond (audio) - Mini review: While very short (2 hrs 37 minutes on audio), this book contains many helpful approaches for the parent living in the current age. Rosemond's plan is to take the child out of his egocentric, consumerist universe and help him understand a more productive role in the family.

  • Poe's Heart and the Mountain Climber by Richard Restak -- Mini review: An illuminating book about the history, causes, neurology, and anything else you might want to know about anxiety. This book, like all of Restak's books I've read, breaks down complex, neurological processes into layman's terms.
